Cairn Construction provides a wide range of General Services including:

       - Victorian homes with emphasis on period detail, while upgrading systems throughout.
       - Contemporary boutique style homes, with cleaner lines and sleek finish.
   Building new custom specified homes.
   Façade restoration of San Francisco's Victorian and Edwardian homes to their former beauty.
   Upgrading seismic integrity and maximizing square footage, while working within the complex planning
    and building codes required in the Bay Area.

Project Management:
Cairn Construction's Project Management team is comprised of highly motivated and experienced individuals. Cairns philosophy of continual improvement ensures this team is constantly updating their skills, and generally keeping abreast of industry changes. We find our ‘hands on’ management approach to be highly effective.

Subcontractors:
Cairn has built strong working relationships with the same team of subcontractors over the last number of years. We work as a unit and move from one project to the next integrating each trade in a seamless way, and scheduling in the most logically consecutive manner. The fact that Cairn chooses to work with the same subcontractors time and time again ensures competitive pricing, loyalty and a commitment to schedule that is unsurpassable.

Schedule:
Maintenance of the project schedule is imperative to the successful completion of any construction project. The schedule is maintained, updated and transmitted throughout the project by Cairn. Generally a broader schedule is useful at the beginning of a project with a target finish date linked to it. As the project evolves the schedule also evolves to become a more detailed reference. Cairn firmly believes in monitoring project progress via the schedule, and feel it is an excellent tool to foresee any major delays and head them off before the critical path is interrupted.

Environmental Goals:
Cairn strives to reuse materials whenever possible, and has sourced a number of sustainable building material alternatives, such as soy foam insulation, trex-decking and recycled lumber beams, should Clients prefer these. Waste Management and environmental awareness is a priority for all Cairn employees.
